The U16 softball team played against Glenwood on Friday 6/9. We had a shaky start but Cole Pretorius stepped up to take over the pitching. After the 1st frame we were 6 runs all and things were looking good. Unfortunately after some umpiring discrepancies not in our advantage, we lost the game 10 runs to 11. Heads up boys!
The U19 softball team took on DHS in the late match of the day. The 1st frame didn’t go our way and we had to play catch-up. With Kyle Pillay pitching, a couple of great catches from Jethro Broughton, Brandon Gartrell and Hugh Cunningham and some great batting, things were going our way. We ended the 2nd frame 8-7 up. We weren’t however able to keep up the momentum and we lost it in the 3rd frame with 9 runs to 13.
