It was a slow start for both teams in the first quarter resulting in an 8 point a piece score. The overcast and windy conditions got to the better of us, so our shooting was not accurate. An epic defence lead by captain Nkanyiso Ntombela in the second and third quarter reduced Clifton from scoring and we kept the ball very well. Quick passing and penetration resulted in us scoring frequently and Clifton had no option but to foul often. There were some 3 pointers by Jason Daniels that added a little pressure on the score for the visiters who also had no answers to the aggression showed by Northwood.
