Northwood hosted DHS on a sunny but windy day. Northwood bowled DHS out for 141 in the 46th over. DHS did not have a batsmen that could anchor their innings as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Although guilty of bowling 15 wides and giving away 28 extras in total, the Northwood bowlers were still in a wicket taking mood as S. Moodley lead from the front as he picked up 4 for 27 at 3.37 per over. Moodley was backed well by D. Van der Merwe and K. Rowling as they chipped in with two wickets a piece.
Northwood did not get off to the best start as they lost a few early wickets. DHS were looking to fight their way back into the game but K.Rowling and D.Van der Merwe once again stepped up and managed to steer the ship. The pair held the innings together with K. Rowling making 30 runs before being dismissed and D.Van der Merwe was on 40 when he was stumped off the bowling of A. Ndlovu. The Northwood batsmen were eating away at the runs despite losing a few more wickets, seeing DHS off in the 43rd over for a three wicket victory.
