Cricket Update October 2017

What a great week for Northwood School Cricket!

All our teams defeated DHS and it was pretty much a one sided affair in all matches.
Special mention must go towards Jawaad Aziz for scoring 107 not out, to lead his team to an imposing total of 249.
Our under 14A cricket team are doing fantastically, with great results at the Shaun Pollock Festival beating Grey College, Hudson Park, Queens College and Parktown Boys High.

Well done to all involved. It’s great to notice that the processes we are implementing to improve cricket here at Northwood are working, although we are still far from the finished product.

The first cricket team are also developing very nicely and this is showing in some of the recent results. At Michealmas week, the boys showed great composure by beating both King Edward School VII and St Albans and loosing to St Johns College by just 3 runs.

Lastly, we are very excited to announce that Riaan Minnie is now employed at Northwood as the Cricket Skills Development Officer. Very exciting times!

We are moving forward at Northwood!
