Paying it forward is just one of the ways we are commemorating our 75th Jubilee Year – and Mr Richter and his Cycling Team are determined to do their bit!
Monday afternoon marked a very special day for the Northwood Cycling Team, as the first 14 bikes from our 75 Bikes initiative were donated to the Go Durban Cycling Academy.
Since the launch of “75 Bikes” on 29 February, the Durban North Community has been amazing with their support. Almost 30 bikes have been donated to the school and we are still waiting for some who showed interest to drop off their bikes.
The boys have fixed up the first batch, with those being delivered to the academy.
Go Durban Cycling Academy is doing amazing work in KwaMashu, not only through their cycling programme, but also by providing academic support to learners who need assistance.
It was such a privilege to meet Brighton and Richard, who selflessly give all of themselves to see these young students in their care succeed in life.
“For it is in giving that we receive.”
