Our 2016 Matriculants performed exceptionally well in the NSC examinations. The school achieved 261 distinctions overall, with 20 % of the boys each scoring 3 or more distinctions. Six boys received seven distinctions: Jamie Anderson Reade, Kyran Appanna, Levi Dipnarain, Nimal Gajahur, James Meadows and Vaistra Seebadri. Also achieved were: 8 students with 6 A’s, 4 students with 5 A’s, 8 students with 4 A’s and 10 students with 3 A’s.
Overall, 96 % of the group qualified for tertiary study.
Our top three matric achievers were:
1. Nimal Gajadhur (94 % for Physical Science, 95 % for both Mathematics and Economics and 99 % for Accounting.)
2. James Meadows (95 % for Accounting, 94 % for IT as part of 6 marks over 90 %)
3. Kyran Appanna (93 % for English, 95 % for Afrikaans and 98 % Accounting)
